Learning from The Greats is no new concept. Recently, I have come across the Google Testing blog, which provides ideas and inspiration surrounding everything from testing to coding practices. This small media source is representative of the paramount leading force in web app development and features content from minds throughout the Google developer team.

We’ve taken it upon ourselves to summarize this important lesson by Max Kanat-Alexander into a simple infographic. Software testing – automated or otherwise – is significantly more effective when paired with code that has a solid foundation of organization and simplicity, which can be achieved through good code health measures.

With almost 75,000 employees and a net worth of over $100 billion in under two decades — Google probably knows what they’re doing.
